Psychodynamic Psychotherapy

Psychodynamic therapy is a talk-based approach that helps you explore how past experiences, especially early relationships, may be influencing your current thoughts, emotions, and  behaviors. It’s a space to gain insight into patterns—sometimes unconscious—that affect how you relate to yourself and others. By bringing these patterns to light, you can develop greater

self-awareness, emotional clarity, and lasting change. The process is supportive and reflective, allowing you to deepen your understanding of your inner world at your own pace.

IFS Informed Parts Work

Internal Family Systems is a gentle, trauma-informed approach that helps you make sense of the different parts of yourself that may have developed in response to painful or overwhelming experiences. These parts, such as those that feel fear, shame, anger, or numbness, often formed as ways to protect you. In IFS, we don’t try to get rid of these parts; instead, we listen to them with compassion and curiosity. As you begin to understand and care for these inner parts, you can

reconnect with your core Self, the calm, wise part of you that can lead your healing journey with strength and clarity.

Trauma Therapy

Trauma can manifest in many different ways, impacting individuals uniquely. It may arise from abuse, family trauma, accidents, assault, difficult relationships, medical experiences, or the long-term effects of bullying. My aim is to support you in working through and healing from these challenging experiences. Understanding that trauma affects everyone differently, I provide a compassionate and personalized approach, helping you move toward peace with your past and a sense of closure, where appropriate

Accelerated Resolution Therapy

As a practitioner trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), I offer a cutting-edge, evidence-based method for addressing trauma. ART uses guided visualization and soothing eye movements to help release the tension and anxiety tied to traumatic experiences—often without needing to speak in detail about painful memories. This approach is especially effective in reducing trauma triggers, allowing emotional reactions to be separated from the facts of the memory and stored safely in long-term memory. Because of its flexibility, ART can be delivered both in-person and virtually, making healing more accessible wherever you are.

Grief Therapy

Grief can arise from many types of loss. Whether it’s the death of a loved one, the impact of a life altering illness, or major life transitions like the end of a relationship or loss of employment, my aim is to offer a supportive space to help you work through the pain and disorientation, while engaging in the process of healing. Grief can show up in many ways and often mirrors symptoms of depression, including deep sadness and a sense of hopelessness. My approach is tailored to your unique experience, honoring the complex emotions that are specific to your story.

Psychoeducation & Coaching

Psychoeducation provides evidence-based information to help you better understand your symptoms, explore treatment options, and strengthen awareness of the mind-body connection. Coaching is often integrated alongside psychoeducation to enhance motivation, clarify goals, and develop practical strategies for growth and lasting change. Examples of common tools include mindfulness practices, techniques to strengthen executive functioning, grounding exercises, and sleep hygiene strategies—each designed to support your progress and well-being.

I provide in-person therapy sessions in Greenwich, Connecticut, as well as virtual therapy for individuals located anywhere in Connecticut and New York.
